“…the reality is in America we have separation of church and state so you can believe whatever you want to believe.
And you can still send your children to school to get a good education so whether it’s religion, or whether it’s an ideology, your school should be open to you and you should be able to walk through the door with your children, knowing that they’ll get a good education, even if you have different opinions than people who are sitting next to you or the teachers and the administrators, people can have different opinions, and still have shared goals, and having integrated successful schools is a goal that I think many many parents share…”
