PLACE NYC Endorses Three Additional Education Candidates for November 2023 New York City Council Races

(New York – October 18, 2023) New York City parent-led education advocacy group, PLACE NYC, is pleased to announce additional endorsements for the November 7, 2023 New York City Council General Election. 

“We are happy to support Councilwoman Vickie Paladino for her re-election with her strong record for supporting rigorous and accelerated education. Candidates Bernard Chow and Paul Rodriguez align closely with our advocacy and will be allies in City Hall if elected.” said Yiatin Chu, PLACE NYC co-founder and co-chair of the PLACE Elections Working Group.

PLACE NYC’s Elections Working Group determines endorsement primarily on the candidate’s education positions and the alignment with our accelerated education advocacy; we take into account the candidate’s experience and track record of supporting high quality education in NYC schools. 

Early voting dates: October 28 –November 5. General election day is Tuesday, November 7.
