RECAP OF PRESENTATION AND PANEL DISCUSSION ON ABILITY GROUPING IN SUPPORT OF ACCELERATION, INTEGRATION & ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE Retired NYC Public School teachers Joseph Chou and Maggie Feurtado, and Jonathan Plucker, Ph.D., President of the National Association for Gifted Children, joined PLACE NYC on Nov. 19 in a wide-ranging 90-minute online discussion about ability grouping, testing practices, Gifted and Talented programs, and Specialized High Schools.
