2023 CEC Candidate Recommendations

UPDATED (6/18/2023): CEC Election Results: https://apps.schools.nyc/CECProfiles

Voting for CEC Elections starts on April 21 through May 9.

Please help support PLACE NYC’s advocacy by voting for our recommended candidates for Community Education Councils (CEC) listed below.

These candidates are the ones we believe best align with our education advocacy based upon evaluation of: candidate statements, CEC forum participation, past CEC voting records (if available), statements made in public speaking sessions at council/PEP meetings and social media, etc. For some of the larger school districts, please note we suggest you vote for the list of candidates that we recommend specifically for your school.

In order to vote, parents must have a NYC Schools Account (NYCSA). You can access your account here. If you do not have an account, please contact your school’s Parent Coordinator for instructions on how to sign up.
